Nothing less than the full spray of stars will do for this gorgeous sonnet, Sharyn. I can even forgive the brightness of the background, which yes, does perfectly match the dress in the photo!
This is such a well written poem, each word exactly what it needs to be, each line bringing the reader further along in the life cycle.
I might have to do something about Madame Time! She's rushing me...

yeah Patti - you must have had your sunnies on and been well prepared, yes? Blessings for your lovely six on this one!! I've only ever written one sonnet before so it's always a giant leap of faith!
Blessings, as always, in brightest of colors!

You have a great rhyming scheme, and good rhythm. The words flow and the message is so clear.

Comment from Gungalo
It's a great sonnet girl with all eyes turning to the fact our parents must grow old. I really liked these lines:
From birth to death, it seems but naught an age
As Time - she laughs, and simply turns the page.
Wonderfully penned.

Whoa - like time is the reader of a book. It goes by as she turns the pages and reads on. Never thought of thing that way! And you are totally right about parents seeming like the All Powerful to kids, then as they get older and the kids grow up, the truth bares itself.
