This is a beautiful, fabulously worded piece of writing in the traditional Shakespearean sonnet style. The musicality of the words is very nice. Good rhymes. kudos

Thsnk you first of all for the poetry lesson and the skill you display again and again. It is no wonder you are so high in the rankings. This was a good poem - fun with good rhythm.

Great sonnet, Sharyn. The octet is crammed with beautiful images, and the pivot really pulls the reader up short ... before sweeping to a courageous, positive conclusion. You wring several emotions out of a mere 14 lines!

Good poem here, about your thoughts of getting older and what it means. Are so many things we go through, it's hard to have that sensuous part of our love life, that we had when we were younger. With love and understanding of each other, we can still have some pretty hot times. Thank you for sharing.

This poem has dense and unique word combinations that make the reader keep his/her interest successfully. I like the line "Let's breathe each other in, and with each breath,
we'll ride those wildest rainbows ... unto death." Recapturing the life mentioned in the beginning of the poem is possible. GracieAnn

It was a great sonnet. They are my favorite formal poems along with Sestina which I've written. I loved the art work you chose also.
