OOOOHHHH. Nice. Flows gently. Had a probem with "drifting gentle" . Seemed to stop for me. Did you mean to say gantly? It felt good and free in the piece and I love to drife in someone elses poem. and I drifted

actually I said "drifting quiet" Barb, not "gentle" - take another peek dear! :)))S

I am so sorry. My mind saw something else. And cat running in front of screen does not help.

Im sorry, I meant quietly.. guess it is too early for me. Paying attention to the cat and trying to concentrate I have trouble chewing gum and walking . Ha

A catching title and nice picture of this white bird. You are so lucky to have so many things that make you happy. I wished I had. I consider it to be a free style poem as it sound so great.

Hi Sharyn,
once again I can't pry the smile from my face, only this time it's from the pure joy you give me reading your appreciation of the beauty that surrounds you.
I was waiting for the cast of hundreds to come out and start singing as I could hear you reciting this with the passion you wrote it with, just love your spirit and the lovely lady that's attached.
If I have a six left for you this month you will see it shining along with the happiness you bring to all that feels your soul, magic!!!
kindest respect,
James xx

What a sweetheart! I'm so glad you "got" this piece, James - I knew you would because I sense you're able to key into the beauty that's around you. Bless you for saving a wonderful six for me!!! Now I'm even happier! yeah!!! :)Sharyn

Sharyn - I guess I forgot that you like your poetry read aloud. It sounded great reading it silently though. You sure come up with good ideas. Kat

Kat, YOU don't have to read it aloud if you don't want to dear - it's just that I'm a performer, so I love to write poetry that sounds musical to my ear. We're not going to put you at the bottom of the class if you prefer simply to read it my dear! :)Sharyn

You're so cute. I got a bang out of you're little note. It's about time for me to try to get a couple of hours shut eye. I've been up all night as usual. Kat

It'salways good to be present in the moment.I love your word choices and how many different words that you used such as fizzing, popping and dropping. I also liked all your different words and shades of blue. You remind us to enjoy and be happy in the simplicity around us. Good luck in the contest!

Wonderful! So many of those same things make me happy too. Without my hubby and this beautiful world (awaaaayyy from cities, that is) life would be so drab.
By the way, Evil Eddie got to your formatting. Retype those symbols in the post and they'll come back looking normal.

God - I can't see anything from my end - I deleted it and re-entered the whole damned thing Phyllis - would you mind taking another peek please? :)Sharyn

It's fine now. Could be a diff in browsers. I'll let you know if it ever happens again.

Bless you Phyllis - thanks so much. You weren't the only one to comment on it. Weird, because nothing showed up on my end! GRRR!

Aaah... The joys of everyday life. The little things that often fail to get noticed, but bring us so much joy if we so notice them. What a lovely colorful poem! Just one thing - there are a whole bunch of random question marks throughout the poem.
