Great artwork. It fits your poem perfectly. Your imagery of the lion and the lamb rising is excellent. It illustrates the hope for unity through God's grace. It's a triumph over evil that they do so. judi

God is so alive in our world. I pray to him often each day that changes our hearts and guides us so we can put an end to the issues we are having in our society. Thank you for sharing.

It is interesting that Christ is called both a lamb and a lion. You would think these are opposites. Of course Christ has many other names as well like a vine, living water, etc.
Good luck with your multi-author book. I too long winded for haikus.

You are very welcome, Roy, and thanks for sharing your poem. When I reviewed this, I thought it was interesting there would be two lion poems posted:) Then, Tony has his book about the lion!

Owen, you are back in the renga! Interesting entry. The lion and the lamb. What do I read in this? That one day the lion and the lamp will live together in peace and put to shame all those who ever proclaimed that impossible.

Oh, I so hope so! God is the greatest. I have faith.

Thank you for this succinct testimony to the Lord - the Lion of Judah, the Lamb of God Who took away the sins of the world and the Good Shepherd Who cares for us all.

Excellent follow up to Gypsy's couplet and a fine addition to the Renga book.

It's interesting to see the different tone that each author brings to the book.

One typo in author notes:

Revelation 5:6 "And between the throne and the the four living creatutures (creatures) and among the elders I

Always a pleasure to read and review.

Hello, Roy,

What a perfect fit to follow my couplet of the lion. You are the master of spiritual poetry so I feel grateful for your addition to our renga book. I love the psalms... especially 23:6...and your choice of scripture fits in nicely. Well done!
