Hello Dip,

It has been awhile since I reviewed one of your poem because I infrequently visit the site. When I do, I try to review poems of my favorite poets/writers.

You write of simplicity in this poem, but your poetry is far from being simple. Your poems are always refreshing, sincere, heartfelt, highly romantic and well-rhymed. You can write in a sneeze. Not all poets are prolific as you.

I hope this is not the last poem that you would post on the site. We need the poets with the romantic touches, like yourself.

I hope you are safe and well. Seemingly, Australia has more controlled of the spread of the virus than America.

Hello my poetic friend. Thank you for the wonderful six and your sincere words of support it certainly means a lot to me.
you have been a loyal supporter of my very simple rhyming verses for a long time now and I really am forever grateful.
well unfortunately this covid pandemic has been a huge moral and economic correction right across the world and it is affecting many in many different ways.
Fortunately, in Australia we have been rather fortunate but there has been a scary second wave in one of our southern states.
I hope you are safe. My visits these days are very fleeting and I hardly post Just have so much going on in my life though these curfews have put a lot of restrictions on my open poetry nights that I was attending frequently in the last 18 months
here's hoping we all come out of this and some normality returns to our lives one day sooner than later.
if you are at all interested last November i did a one man show called 'AN AUDIENCE WITH DIP AND FRIENDS' which i have now loaded up on youtube.

I agree with writing simply and from the heart. From the heart is how all writers, whether prose of poetry, should right. Your aim to stop greed and hate, I share too. It is the only way towards world peace.

Thank you so much Pam you have always been very supportive of my writes and for that I am extremely grateful.
The photo accompanying is actually the cover of my self published book from 2013.
a lot of 'water under the bridge' since then and I would probably cringe at some of these poems but I can tick it off my bucket list of publishing a book of poems at least once in my life.

You are very welcome, dip, and I enjoyed your work. I thought that looked like a book cover! It is a good feeling to publish. I hope it wasn't just the forum that caused you to make your decision, but I can understand that 7 years is a long time. Ironically, I have been on the site for a little over 5. We are doing well, and FS and writing keeps my sanity! You stay well and safe, too, and the best of everything to you.
