The flight of a kite is a good metaphor for love. It is a complete extended metaphor in 3 lines. I like the color scheme and choice of artwork.

Flying kites with a loved one is a delightful way to spend a day. I never flew a kite until I had three daughters in elementary school.

I like this one. Ribbon of delight goes with a kite and the tugging on my heartstrings is just like how the wind tugs on the kite strings. Am I right? It sounds like a very young, light, and cheerful poem.

Such a great idea to write on a kite flying for I remember always trying to fly kites with my children when spring finally arrived. It seems to be a spring thing in my brain. Well done!
