A very well-written 5-7-5 about the constraints and affects of the self quarantine have on us. We can only think about being free to go where we like to go. Although we keep ourselves busy for as long as we can.

It's a cycle that gets really old, really fast, doesn't it, Dove?!! :) :) This is a well-written, timely offering for the contest! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;) Yvette

Yes will said and isn't it wonderful to have such activities in one's life to do now when we are living through such strange times - sometimes it's hard to believe this is actually happening in our world !!

In this poem, you state you are trapped in quarantine, but you care to do some good jobs hoping for freedom of living, well said; thank you for sharing this.

You have three excellent activities to enjoy, plus you are still alive, so I'd say things are OK for you. Your poem expresses the exasperation a lot of people are feeling due to loss of freedom of choice.

Dear LisaMay, Thank you for your getting the feeling from my poem that I wanted to convey. I am better off than some people, because of these activities mentioned in the poem and of course, being alive! I do know a lot of other people simply don't know what to do with themselves at this time. Dove

I know that some people feel trapped but I just take it as an opportunity to switch gears and do things differently. I do read more, definitely write more and meditate for the first time ever. Your poem resonates with me. Respectfully, January L.
