What is your recipe for making sanitizer? Would like to know if it works? We could not find any on shelf for a long time. Amazon was even out of it. So what's your recipe? Thank you.

I bought aloe vera gel and pure alcohol 90 degrees, and then i took a jar an added 80 % alcohol and the rest Aloe Vera. But i found this recipe on internet Ingredients
⅔ Cup 99% Rubbing Alcohol
⅓ Cup Aloe Vera Gel
Essential Oils Of Your Choice
Instructions
Gather your ingredients and a small bowl.
Mix the rubbing alcohol and aloe vera gel together until well combined.
Add in just a few drops of essential oil of your choice, or you can leave out if prefered.
Notes
Note, it is very important to use a rubbing alcohol that is 99% alcohol. To be effective, hand sanitizers must be at least 60% alcohol. When you dilute with aloe vere, you cut the alcohol content by 33%. This recipe creates a hand sanitizer that is approximately 65% alcohol.

thank you for your recipe. I'm ordering some Aloe Vera gel, and essentials right now.

It sounds like you're getting through this insane time by doing the best you can, and using a little ingenuity. Your story is clever, entertaining and humorous.
I have found some errors (which you also requested) and I hope these corrections will help you. Your dialogue doesn't follow the usual conventions of using quotation marks, but instead you list them with dashes, like bullet points. I didn't correct those things, because I'm sure you know the correct format. Here are the other errors, with my suggestions for improvement:

I know you can make hand sanitizer with alone gel and rubbing alcohol, but where I live, you usually can't buy the alcohol either. One day they got two crates of it at Rite Aid. They rationed it out, only one bottle to purchase per customer, and it was gone by the next day. You can't even find it on Amazon. And some websites are charging $3.99 for 2 ounces of hand sanitizer! You'd think it was fuel!
Thanks for sharing, and I hope you get through the rest of the pandemic okay. God bless you and your husband.

Hi Mary, thank you so much for the corrections and please forgive me for my delay. I hope things are better where you are.
-
You're very welcome, Iza. I hope it helped. Yes, thank you, things are better here, now. We were actually able to buy two more bottles of rubbing alcohol!
I just caught a mistake in my own review -- autocorrect changed "aloe" gel to "alone" gel, lol, gel for being alone! Thank the Lord, I'm not, because I have a good husband, but he was sick recently (not Coronavirus) and spent 5 days in the hospital. I missed him very much, but he's fine now. I hope you and your husband are both fine -- and all your family and friends.
Here in NYC, it was an epicenter of Covid-19, but it's getting better, because people are observing social distancing etc. Everyone, everywhere needs to be careful, these days.
God bless you, my friend, and stay safe. Love, Mary Kay xoxo

Thank you so much Ms. Mary, we are ok in my city was not so bad we had only 139deaths in the entire province. So I think God protected us.
-
Yes, He did. Thanking God for His mercy. May He continue to keep you safe. - Mary Kay xoxo

I think this is a good entry for the 'How Has Covid-19 Affected You' contest.
This piece tells of documenting the outbreak.
Well done and I wish you lots of luck with the contest.

This is exactly how we all feel! The part about fighting with your cats is hilarious. The writing is wonderful and flows so effortlessly. I read it twice, I enjoyed it so much.- "I know a guy who stashed all the designer's one, the one that keeps your hands fluffy." Fluffy hands!!! Now, that's funny!!! Thanks for this. Well done! Respectfully, -January L.

This is a very good journalistic rendering of how Covid-19 Affects you. It certainly mirrors the likes of most of us going through this disastrous time. Who would have thought this could happen. I was on a trip to Florida in January, when this germ was beginning to circulate throughout the world. If it was planned, the timing was essential. This is the height of travel to warmer climates. Ergo, the cruise ships, airplanes, etal.
Thanks for sharing your caged vacation.

You did this in a very amusing way. I'm glad you can still laugh and make us laugh. We've all in survival mode and it is getting to a lot of people. Still I guess we can do this. It beats the alternative. Nicely wrtten.

You expressed your thoughts and feelings well. I enjoyed reading your rant. It is a way to 'let off steam' so to say. With all the different opinions we hear everyday, one doesn't know what to do or change or . . . I like the part about not caring about one's appearance. Thanks for sharing. Sty safe and stay warm. Respectfully, Jan

I'm sorry, I know this is a serious matter, but that was hilarious, Iza! It brightened my, otherwise, dreary day! You're right about the Communism! We are all in it, LOL! Well done, I really enjoyed this piece on how Covid-19 affected you, and wish you the very best of luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xxx
