I think this is a good entry for the 5-7-5 Bye Bye Blackbird writing prompt.
This short verse tells a good story and is the perfect match for the amazing artwork.
Well done and I wish you luck with the contest.

-Nice image and
presentation.
-The syllable count is good,
and the imagery is effective.
-The wording in your poem
is very creative in the first two lines.
-A very good satori line, too.
-Good luck in the contest.

Yes birds have a lot of sense it seems - they know how to get out as the winter winds threaten to blow and reside in warmer climes - nice pic to illustrate

This is a well-written poem for the bird 575 contest. You have told a nice story about how birds migrate south for the winter.
Great job! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day.

You've written and excellent 5-7-5 poem for the contest
but the color is difficult to read.
The image of the birds flying south is very good.
I'd like to join them.
Good luck in the contest

Hello, my friend,
Good job with the syllable count. The presentation is nice. I think skyful is not a word. Did you mean, sky full? Just checking. Good luck with the black black bird contest.

Thanks for your review. According to Merriam Webster dictionary skyful is a word : "as much or as many as the sky can accommodate"

I always find winter a bit solemn as it's not brimming over with birdsong and chirps.
I loved the presentation of this, and the wording as well. Good luck in the voting!
