Doc - What a compelling work.
From Jason's point of view: his patience, his acceptance: He had sweet assurance - he knew that he knew that he knew - his wondering turning to anticipation - knowing something new was happening - in the blink of an eye, stepping across the threshold.
The 'Magic Nation' line must hold a special meaning to those in the know - but I couldn't help but think of how distant the recipients of Jason's blessings might be.
Very thought provoking - and effective.
Your author's notes, in themselves, tell a compelling story. What an awful loss ... what an awesome gain.

Hi Ricky, How goes it today? I do kind of wish you would leave the title and copyright info out of the top of the poem... it makes it so that it's sometimes hard to tell where the poem begins. I do like reading your work though... where'd you go? ;)

Okay, you got me... I was following the decisions we make throughout our lives, but are we then talking about 'death' as no one living can know...? Our decisions may one day lead to death...? Hopefully I'm not too far off -- thanx for sharing! ;)
