The brevity of this poem really drives the point home. I like that you held yourself to a structure of your own making (4 lines, 5 syllables a line). However, the metaphors, though powerful, are a little cliche. That is really the single critique I can give, otherwise, nicely done!

This poem will appeal to anyone who has lost a lover to death, divorce, or someone else. The Speaker's grief is emphasized by the use of hyperbole in lines 2 & 3. The last verse is unfortunately the truth. Rod

Soulfully expressed with an excellent supporting graphic. I suppose that things seem like they will be never lessened by time, especially before time actually passes. I have been to these depths of loss and know the feeling. Thanks for sharing.

This is a sad write and grief can indeed control our hearts, a fine 20 syllable write for the contest, perfectly formed and I wish you luck, love Dolly x

That's such a sad poem but wonderfully written. To me, it feels like such a challenge to express so much emotion in such a short poem but you did it wonderfully. All in all, it was a pleasure reading this poem.
