Your free verse poem and your most gifted object you chose to write about is interesting and different. Most people wouldn't pick a writing pen. That's what makes your poem unique and that is why I like it. Your poem flows well and it is clear and straight to the point. Your artwork choice enhances your message. Best wishes!

It sounds like you have the kind of love for your pencil that I had for my books. I was obsessed with reading. I had so many books that I would read them two or three at a time. It pained me when I had so many that I had to get rid of some. Thanks for sharing this well thought out and well written work. Well done!

I definitely can relate, a great theme, very true for everyone at this site. Great entry, your poem flows. Every word skillfully planted to grow into a work of art. I have to read everything before casting a vote. Good luck.

This is very good! It makes me want to buy you a pack of such pencils. You have a way of making an everyday object very special indeed! With such utensils you will never run out of words.

This is an excellent poem about lead pencils. (you have it spelled led which is not correct). You have written what these pencils have done for
you.

led is not spelled correctly. Should be lead.
I keep typing, 'cause of that darn special pencil
paper afloat, (not a period)
This is a nice flowing piece and I enjoyed it and the presentation. Very nice free verse.

It gave me a writer's profession - that led pencil and a pad of paper, and you're all set! My hand doesn't press as hard any more, I need a good clear black pen for handwriting (if we are handwriting and not just printing). But the dream is the same. Before I set out, let me get pen and p aper!

Let us say that of all the tools at our disposal the pencil will never leave first-place. A worthy treatise about the importance of a very undervalued tool.
PS: Don't forget the eraser.

Yes, we couldn't do a thing without a led pencil. I like to erase when their are mistakes. It's also fun to sharpen when needed. To write with it bring many moments of happiness, pleasures.
