I simply love your free verse poem. I think this is a poem that many can relate too. I know that I can. It flows well with a message of love and it seems forgiveness. It's a beautiful heart felt poem. It's well-written and it seems personal from the heart. Best wishes!

It is a very personal poem, and I thank you for your review.

Anger aimed within. That's all too true, but hopefully the narrator can let it go and let the healing begin. This free verse reads smoothly, as natural as speech with a rhythm all its own.

You're welcome.

I am not sure how this elegant piece of free verse fits the contest requirement to write about a prized object. This seems to be about a loved person but a person cannot really be considered as an object -- at least I hope not.

Thank you for your review. In my opinion anything held in deep regard can be the object of one?s affection. I could be wrong.
