Thank you for sharing the beautiful sights and smells of this walk. I too love to walk the hills, sometimes writing about them - there are some kinds of beauty that only poetry can best capture, beauty that strikes the soul. A lovely classical poem, well structured with only a couple of scansion glitches.

This is a good entry for the contest and the picture is quite lovely, as is the poem. The rhyme scheme works well within it. The speaker describes the pleasure she feels as she senses nature's beauty in the Autumn of her life.
