A beautiful depiction of autumn, in disciplines form and rhyme that doesn't weigh down the lightness of the poem's heart.

The form only falters once, v3; may I propose the following, off the top of my head?
If leaves of verdant hues drop down
A vibrant mix of green and brown

Fabulous poem, stunning presentation, I drank in every orangey, autumny word in this piece. I'd wager it's a winning entry, and hope it gets there, or at the least, does well. I also appreciated how you kept a smooth, natural flow to this while sticking to that eight-syllable count, which is no mean feat at all. Well done! Good luck!

Extended personification marks this autumn poem with a more active sense. Favorite lines: Across the towns and rolling hills/the leaves will dance until wind stills. I got the idea that vibrant colours in the last stanza were more feminine this time around as they were said to 'primp and preen.' It sounds as if the autumn season were meant to add color 'to the moody blues' to be uplifting to our mood. Great poem, good luck in the contest!

This is a good entry for the Orange You Glad It's Autumn contest. Autumn is my favorite time of year, and I love all the beautiful colors. Nice job on this poem.
