I love this! The sea can be so mesmerizing and moments later terribly destructive. Amazing job with choice of letters and using them to create each sentence conveying a powerful image of how terrible the sea can be. Uncontrollable nature at its worse yet still haunting beautiful at the same time! Awesome piece!

Well, I think the winner of that contest deserved to win really, it was a fine poem. I was happy to get the votes I got considering it was my first go at that form. Still, it IS nice to win!

This ABC poem, Angry Sea, follows the CDEFB order and adds an ABABB rhyme scheme to impress on the readers that the ocean is a powerful force we don't want to make mad. We won't like her when she's mad.
