Yes, it does seem that so often the darker side of things is winning such that life is devastating to the heart, to the mind. Your write here is very descriptive in trying to portray such feelings... thank you for sharing! ;)

Slice, and Wound the, 'Normality.' -- I like these two lines. There's a balance to them. :)
Saddam and Ghommorah? -- Is this intention, or a spag? It's usually, sodom and gomorrah.
