The Triolet is a neat vehicle for you to capture your sightings of the lizards. I enjoyed your rhymes and repeats for emphasis. The iguana's eye in the picture really seems to be watching us! Smiles and happy Sunday- Joan

Hi Alicia,

A well written Triolet poem. I've seen lots of iguanas when in Mexico. They love to sun themselves and seem placid, but can move quite fast when they want to. "The little critter can dance too." :) ... my fave line.

Hugs,
Connie

Hi Connie! I've seen those wall decor iguanas at Mexican Restaurants. Mexico scares me. I couldn't ever go there alone. They eat insects. It's trip I would have to take in marital bliss or something. Lolz but true. Thank you. Hugs, Alicia :)

How cool! I like iguanas and lizards. Glad you can enjoy them while you're there. I like your triolet which shows me the happy dancing nature of the miniature dinosaur.

Iguanas aren't my faves, Alicia. I prefer cats and dogs, but I have to say the colorful critter in the illustration holds my interest. A nicely written Triolet. Marilyn

Hi! I use to play with the little lizards like in the geico commercial growing up. The large iguanas appear to be new to South Florida. Maybe 20-years and they say it's desert. Not sure if those large iguana reptiles will survive subtropical. It seems too comfortable like a heaven. Thank you :)

I enjoyed this write, sunnilicious. It was fun to read and I liked the bouncy action in it. The flow was good as was the imagery. Nice job of writing.

Hi Roy! I saw plenty iguanas around South Florida on my travels there. Pretty normal if you ask me. I grew up playing with the little lizards. The iguanas appear to be new. Thank you. Hearts & hugs, Alicia :)
