Your poem captures the memories of your grandchildren. They grow up so fast. The happy part of your poem is while your grandson is at school, his sister is young enough to visit. I am sure many can relate to your words and have a good feeling reading about grandchildren.

Hi Connie,
Awwww - This is such a lovely tribute to your grand kids. It is so true that they grow up so quickly.
It's great that his sister came along to bring you joy in his absence.
Thanks for sharing.

This was a joy to read, with perfect meter and lovely rhymes. The message is simply a happy, slice of life. You're not the only one who is blessed. Your family is blessed to have you. Regards, Lou

This is a sweet poem about our grandchildren and how quickly they grow up, Connie. It's great to see a new photo of Jack and Madeline. My younger grandson just turned 13. Marilyn

A very well-written poem about your granchildren who always have a great time when they are coming over where they have a room full of toys to play and keep themselves busy for hours. They are certainly growing up far too quickly.

This is skillfully-written and SO moving. I'm a grandma with a sixteen-year-old
granddaughter and a twelve-year-old grandson. They still need me--but less and less; and, yes, the toys are dusty. Great poem

Thank you, Janice, for such a nice review. You are lucky that your grandchildren still need you, even if it's "less and less."
I'm glad you liked my poem.
Best wishes to you.

Aren't grandchildren the best? I have five and how I wish they lived closer,I love them to the moon and back. One set lives in Cambodia another set in Alabama and my baby girl has her baby in Florida
Well penned and gorgeous photo
God bless

Hi Connie :)
I really enjoyed your poem about Jack and Madeline :) What a beautiful picture of them both. He looks like a proud and protective big brother! I'm glad the fire truck is being enjoyed a second time around!
Such a shame they have to grow so quickly - I miss my baby days...
Best wishes, Debra :)

Thank you, Debra, for your very thoughtful review. It is indeed hard, and yet exciting, to watch the babies
grow up.
