This tanka vividly describes the uncontrollable power
of the wind. Reason for the 4: The last two lines are VERY
close in meaning. Since each line is clear in meaning, not (just my
opinion, of course) needing emphasis through repetition, maybe
one of the lines could be changed ?? Maybe "lives" could be used
in line 5.

A very well-written Tanka. When nature strikes there is absolutely nothing we can do to prevent or even stop it. It will goes its course and destroy all in their path and leaves behind devastation.

Perfect photo for showing natures fury.sometimes we get lucky with Mother Nature. Sometimes its a lot worse,
I liked the Black and white photo instead of color, I think its more dramatic for showing natures devastating effects at times.
Maybe a different angle would be better, because theres the person, theres the tree!! House is in background, natures Fury doesn't really hit me in this photo. I feel if I saw the damage done it would have made me feel differently about the photo. A tree lying on the ground doesn't make me feel Natures Fury.

You have written a very good Tanka. It is a wonderful entry for the Tanka Poem contest. I think your satori was a great pivot point that reflected back at the first two and also forward for the last two. Good luck in the contes.
