Hi June. Your Rondeau is well illustrated and composed. Rhyming is good, too. I like the author's note telling about the cherry blossom and its meaning. "Mindfulness and living in the present." So important. Marilyn

Hi June,
I love the rondeau form and you have composed a beauty :) Friends of ours have just left us to retire in Japan. I'd love to see their cherry blossoms. I'm impressed by your lovely iambic meter. I'm intrigued that you used the last part of line one for your short repeat phrase. I'm in the habit of using the beginning of line one, so tend to forget this is an option too. I love seeing different varieties in action.

I enjoyed your rondeau for potlatch, June. Your words are refreshing and I can almost smell the cherry blossoms. Good job with the style of the rondeau. Your repeating line works well as a summation of your well- chosen words per verse. Thanks for sharing. Jan

You're right. We can't let ourselves get negative all of a sudden. We have to think positive and happy. You're poem spreads the message that we all have to think positive. No grammatical errors. Good luck in the contest!

Love the 'calling' of eternal spring that is referenced and laced throughout your write here -- just so very uplifting and 'bright' just as Spring should be!! :) Thanx for the wonderful write to hopefully get the 'cold' week off to a brighter start! :) ;)

This is a beautiful poem about love and and what is new or renewed. I enjoyed the flow and rhymes very much. You pulled both off well. I could hear the rhymes flow perfectly as you told a story about the newness of life and its offerings. A great piece!

A very well-written Rondeau poem about the eternal spring and the cherryblossoms that are a symbol for the season of Spring and the promise of the fruit that will come in summer.
