You've pegged cats to a 'T.' Mine start out playing, and sometime, it gets serious, and then they make up again. Just like kids. LOL. Cute poem with that is enjoyable to read.

Oh my goodness -- this is SO our girls, Camille and Bella! ;) ;) Even though they're sisters, they can never end with the licking...gotta go to the biting then the clawing and they end up running after and tackling each other...what is up with that?! :) ;) A fun write here, Trisha -- thanx for the smile as I slowly 'recover' from Thanxgiving....still have one here that will be going back tomorrow, but he's bogged down with work so, it's almost back to normal! :) ;) Take care! ;) Yvette :)

I've never seen a moving picture more suitable, and fun to watch, than your choice from Pinterest. Your poem is quite clever as well. I like your first part of the piece for its brevity and concisement. Your second stanza adds a lot to the moving photo and the first stanza. It could stand on its own if you wanted it to. But I like both together. They make a complete set. My favorite line is "Emotions spurn sudden disdain." I like the alliteration, and the sounds it makes when I read it out loud. I love your ending, "Go figure!" I can think of no better way to end this delightful presentation than to say, "Go figure!" You have a wonderful sense of humor. Thanks for including me in this exciting display so common to cats when they know each other. I have two cats and have seen the same behavior in them, as shown in your presentation. Thanks for sharing.
Take care, Jesse

It looks as though cats have things worked out in a way that saves them a fortune in feline psychiatric fees. Good old-fashioned animal common sense goes a long way!

Yes, you're right. Cats fight each other and they make up as friends. Inside their minds they create tough love. It's how they are. Thanks for sharing!
