This is an excellent contest submission and will do very well in the vote. I live in south Florida and I too wish for summer. Right now the temperature is a chilly 92. I long for the warm 103 degrees of summer.

Well here in Amarillo Texas the temperature is 42 degrees with the expected high of 45. I do very much appreciate the stars and the comments.

I feel that way too, every year! I can feel the cold coming into my bones...every last one of them! I too yearn for the sunshine, when I can sit on my deck or out in my hammock, as long as it isn't too humid. I live on the ocean so humidity gets icky too. But I'll take the sun over the snow any day!

We're expecting our first snow of the season here, though they don't think it will be enough to accumulate. Anyway the ground is still a bit too warm. I much appreciate the stars and the comments.
