A fun little ditty -- can almost hear a group pre-schoolers or kindergartners singing it in a circle...! :) :) Delightful! :) Thanx for sharing this morning, sir! :) Yvette

Lol. I guess you're the pro of made up words, Bill. Enjoyed the sounds of the poem and the regular meter and the outrageous rhymes. Keep up the creative work!

Thanks but no thanks, not my cup of tea, a little to salty for me. I don't imagine that I would have any teeth left if I were to try to take a bite out of that incredibly tough hide. I'll pass.

Not everyone.
Comment from Earl Corp
Everything tastes good with some picadillo. Im going to hate to see armadillos end, but you don't usually take them much further than six installments.

I always try for ten, but sometimes a source just dries up.

This is a very innovative way to describe the indescribable. What a quaint creature the armadillo is, with its armor plated hide and vacuum cleaner nose. Which only goes to show that some people will eat anything if they are hungry enough. cheers Cass

Comment from Gloria ....
Ha, another finely rhymed and metred treat from armadillo land. I was most fond of the jillo and marshomillow rhymes.
Always a treat to read your most innovative verse, Bill.

Are they really dumb? But they're so darn cute, it doesn't matter! I'm sure it would be softer than a concrete pillow. Good invention of words. Delightful read.

Is this how you entertained your students? Excellent work with your fun rhymes. You can do just so much with an armadillo. I like your comparison to a concrete pillow and dumber than a marshomillow. Who could enjoy the taste? Great fun. judi
