Excellent

I don't look for meter unless it has a particular cadence for a purpose to effect something unique. You have many song allusions. This draws the reader in, to reminisce on the sound of those songs, or to send them scattering to discover what they sounded like. This is a clever conglomerate of hit singles of that era. You did your research or have an excellent memory for someone from the disco era. lol

So, whilst it's true that the format is a little haphazard and the punctuation is not always correct with capital letters in weird places, it actually kind of works and I still thought it was a cool poem because the lack of restrictions made it seem so carefree and expressive just like disco music and dancing. I thought it was very clever how you incorporated the names of various songs into the poem and made these bold for us to see- made it easy to read and pick up on that twist. It was just very fun and easy and I liked it. Good luck in the contest.
