I loved your crazy poem. Was it intended for children or adults because I saw it as a bit of fun poetry for all ages. I found myself with my favourite artist creating the scenes in my head. Well done. PM

Interesting approach with the choice of couplets rather than traditional verses possibly a wise one. It allows you to throw in the longer line formats without being concerned with the extreme change in lines within each 4 line verse.
Cute ending with your version of a "Heeeeerrrreeee's Johnny!" moment.

very spooky, the form and versification adds a great deal to the creepiness. the tension builds throughout. my favorite: "everybody was sleeping but Jack, not him." nice and scary, Rhonnie.............meeshu
