Thankfully you had the decency to put a cat picture in. There's nothing special about words. The two kids are cute - are they yours?
God will play merry hell with you when he gets around to you, you know that, right? Your long hair will not save you: he gave Jesus a hard time too.
One star for each prompt and one for the kitten.
You must try harder if you are going to be a writist.

This is full of excellent ideas. I hope someone is listening. Such a cute picture at the top! I especially liked the idea of the animals replacing a historic figure. That would be a real challenge for a poem, but so much fun to read other's entries. Good luck with this. It is creative and well written.

My only negative thought is in regards to Prompt #2- the story behind the picture. FS already does a prompt like this AND we have the Pix This Club dedicated solely to this concept.

My only negative thought is in regards to Prompt #2- the story behind the picture. FS already does a prompt like this AND we have the Pix This Club dedicated solely to this concept.

I enjoyed reading your contest entry. Your first prompt is actually scary. The thought of those thugs winning is horrible. Lincoln and Kennedy surviving is an interesting thought. I wish you luck.

Hi Michael, you have certainly come up with a good few choices. I liked two of your prose contests. They have great scope. The idea writing about a picture has been seen on the site a few times. I suppose the poetry prompts would get the attention of poetry writers. Good luck in the contest. Ulla:))

This article, Can Someone Loan Me Five Bucks, has some super cool suggestions for expanding the challenges we have to work with. I think I saw Superman as a Nazi in a graphic novel I skimmed in a bookstore. That would be something. The humor, if not there, rings out in the other suggested prompts.

We've had story behind the picture prompts before, so I would choose the one about Death is Funny. That's a really new idea.
