Hello Bucketlist!
How very wise and true are your words: children do have the capacity to teach many things to adults, and they invariably do! Perceptive.
If I may make one suggestion, in the first stanza, the third line ends abruptly. I would attach "to us" to that line:
Little tykes are teachers
Even after all we know
They bring the best of life (to us)
As they quickly grow.

Now, you know exactly why I like children better than some adults... sorry.. Seriously, you learn much in your youth. You learn how to be. The forming of our hearts is so important , don't you agree? I love your poem. It's real.

Hi Kathleen! I do agree with you, and a lot of kids are ?screwed up? in their formative years by adult superiority The sad thing is babies don?t come with a How to Raise manual!. Thank you very much for your six star honor. I?m glad you enjoyed my poetry

Adults should be more like children and play, enjoy each day. I guess we don't due to worry. Being a child is carefree in the storm.
The rhymes work well, simple and effective.
