I am so sorry to read this. I will send immediate healing on all levels to you. Were you in any of those fuckin' schools that we are hearing are being exposed? I think, Buddism, Wiccan & Native American all have much in common. I'm a dowser, healer, have some Buddism beliefs and the Native American spirituality. I think it was Sun Bear who said, there was no good or evil, it is just about balance. In my Native American authors' books, by the Gears, they speak of the spiral being out of balance. Thank you for sharing this. It makes me appreciate you even more. I honor you with A+

Thank you so very much for reading Liz and your great comments. I like the fact that Buddism, Wiccan and Native American's all have much in common. Wow, a dowser and a healer-those are talents that I also claim. I do believe the teachings of Sun Bear. Me- I was raised and taught in a simple school in Ontario, Canada although it took me two years to learn to be a rightie. Now I just use both, lol. Thank you so much for the shiney ones.

My mother had her left hand tied behind her back in a public school. She also became anmbidextrous. I think lefties become out of necessity, become Ambi's also. It was handy playing badminton. lol

One of my healing ministries I feel called to is MMI. I belong to a group where they post missing Indigenous. It is overwhelming. I comment on each post something like 'a shield of protection' & 'healing on all levels.' I feel committed to this calling.

Aww your poor mother, at least I had my left hand tied to the desk, yep that's me-ambidextrous. For me it was baseball, hockey and lacross, I could use either hand.

you were a force to be reconned with. I was a teacher with the chalkboard to my back gesturing that they should begin on the right side of the paper & go to the left. It messed me up for my left & right. My Yoga teacher used to become frustrated with me, "Liz, your other right." It took me a long time to figure out why I couldn't remember which was my right or left. She must have consciously made the adjustment as she sat facing us.

It is a facebook group called
Missing and Murdered Native Americans. I have connected with Mona Sespe. She is one of the posters. I just wanted to commend her for the light she brings to such dark work. I told her I sent her healing. She said it was difficult to having to be posting so often and so many young ones. I check in with her every so often to see how she's doing.

But as you gave us a context of your Native roots and their teaching, it makes sense that you embrace the Creator and the "golden rule" (I love the addition of "do it first!"). I wish I knew more about what you learned at 16, when you "claimed your heritage!"

Thank you so much for reviewing Helen. Yep I was a preemie I had just cleared my 33rd week. I guess the problem was because we lived in a tent in Canada, until just before I went to school. It was large and the kitchen area had an old fashion wood/coal stove, an ice box, shelves for our dishes and food and a table that sat six, then there were two bedrooms across the back with blankets hanging to separate and there was a small potbelly stove between the two. I remember the floor was raised with wood and covered with rugs. When I first came home I slept on the oven door in a six quart basket and when the oven was in use I slept on the heated water reservoir. Okay will fix that in a moment.

Oh, that must mean you were even more preemie than me. I was about a month too early and no incubators in postwar Korea back then.
I loved your tent home description. I will read more about your life story and hope you included some of that.

I am so glad you enjoyed this chapter, I was hesitant but several had asked but then again I sort of got shot down by others, but I have always had the attitude that - 's**t happens and I have a big shovel'- lol. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I have explored other religions throughout my life and I think it's wonderful to know about all of them. I'm still Catholic and as I grow older, it's retaken it's importance in my life. Hi Alie. I love this chapter. I DO know about the Wiccan religion and that it's all good stuff. Also know practicing Wiccans and now I know you, too. I have explored other religions throughout my life and I think it's wonderful to know about all of them. I'm still Catholic and as I grow older, it's retaken it's importance in my life. I went through the religious carry-on and then found Bahaime (Creator of all living things) we worship nature, revere her animals and tolerate (hopefully) the white man's ways! This is good information Alie. It is nice to know that I have a Wicca for a friend. I have no qualms in what your religion is. This is a free country as long as no harm is done. It is interesting, for I feel the forces of nature speak sometimes. Then again, it could be just my desire to hear. This is a good chapter of your life.
