A simple piece seemingly written for a more simple (younger?) audience....or, perhaps, simply composed so that the mind could focus and sing along with the familiar melody...? Either way, a wonderful composition - thank you for sharing that piece of your heart. :)
And I do hope the melody has allowed your mind to sing through the pain and find a smile in the music once more....:) :) Yvette

Hi Ricky. I am sure this is good therapy for you. I admire how you are working your way though this. You have four daughters to live for. Any grandchildren? If not now you will have some. They all need you. Thank you for sharing

You are so right that Jason lives on NOT ONLY in the hearts of friends and family and those he touched throughout his life...but literally lives on within all who benefited from your decision to donate his organs. This is a difficult choice I realize, but --for me, it seems so natural to want to donate organs that will save other's lives when my time on earth is through. God Bless!

My Mom died at 60....true, at her age they deemed her heart and lungs "not beneficial" for transplant...BUT, her corneas, kidneys, skin? Absolutely were most welcome and I know the two recipients who received one kidney each were saved...and her corneas restored site...and her skin saved the life of a severely burned electrician through skin grafts....so yes indeed, be a donor! Whatever "spare parts" of mine they can use when I die are most certainly up for recycling! --Karenina

First let me say I am so very sorry for your loss. This is heartbreaking to read. The pain and loss are expressed eloquently. I think it's wonderful that you used this to encourage organ donation. Jason living on in others is a beautiful thought. Thank you for sharing this obviously heartfelt writing.

So so sorry about your loss. Great poem and dad as it would be. No one knows why a young person is taken while a bad person lives. Glad that organs were donated.

Hello Again Ricky. This is a beautifully sad tribute to your son. *Deep Inside* (so many meanings I pull from those too words). We all cope in different ways and it's wonderful that you are able to share those pieces of you through written word. For many, seeing things written down makes loss too real. I commend you for having the strength to continue sharing love through your writing. I'm thrilled I got to read some more.
Best Wishes
Mallory

Good read, educational, good colour combination, second part from the bottom>i'd think...Fluffy White Wings attached, he started to fly/glide. sail is on the water?? that part may be poetic imaginary? at the start it comes across as humorous, but then emotional, well presented, it is interesting and keeps the reader eager to read on.
Good Luck!

This speaks about death and after your son Jason, all angels were present beside him consoling him not to cry, all left for heaven, his heart remained in many others heart; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR
