Wow! Thanks so much, Dolly. I never realized the beautiful variations of clouds offered by nature. I appreciate your great review, and of course, the ? heavenly? six stars,

What I know about haikus you could put on the head of a pin. This is lovely and I think it meets requirements.
You've certainly give a great description of this phenomenon. I've never seen anything like it. Thank you for showing this.

Haiku has 3 lines, tradionally
5 syllables,
7 syllables
5 syllables
It does not have to rhyme
Often uses nature as the subject, writing should be able to ?stand alone? and create an image as if there was no picture. Hope this helps. Thanks for your complimentary review

Comment from Gloria ....
That is a fascinating cloud formation isn't it? But seeing is believing and your fine haiku illustrates the geometry involved in the fluffy white layers.
Excellent and best wishes to you in the contest.

FS has given me more of a reason to enjoy nature by searching for subjects to post. I never realized the variety of cloud formation before. Thank you kahpot for reviewing so kindly, and I?m very glad you enjoyed my choice.

The picture is interesting but looks fake. I have heard of these clouds. Good topic for a haiku. I would not use capital letters & you have 19 syllables. I believe the max number is 17. Best wishes. Jan

Ooh - fascinating picture and great haiku. "Nature's high altitude art" is a great line. Thanks for sharing another brilliant poem, and good luck with the contest!
