I think this is one of your best. You chose the perfect insect to write about relative to changes. You could use the chameleon as an extended metaphor and write extensively on this the subject of change.

This makes me think how politicians must be chameleons. They are capable of changing whenever the need arises. They're always "In the moment," thinking of those approval ratings. Chameleons have those survival skills. judi

One of my favorite recordings is by Aretha Franklin and Michael McDonald. The songs title is "These are ever changing times" and I figure that has to be a mantra for the chameleon, as for him, every moment is an ever changing time.

You've created a great piece of advice here in very few words. "To be in the moment " is a very good satori for this 5-7-5 poem. The structure is sound with all the necessary syllables present.
"Change is a must", is true for this little lizard and connects nicely to line one. The personification is present and in the moment! A good one, Bill.
