Hi Bill,to be honest,I think you've lost me this time round. It's all about a worm, yes, I do understand. But then what? Oh I must be thick. I am so very sorry. It's well written, I can see that. All the best. Ulla:))

Let's begin with the X-men, a Marvel superhero group.
One of the X-men was Logan, The Wolverine.
Logan had super healing powers and could extend claws from his fists.
Military scientists cut him open and coated his bones with a metal known as Adamantium.
So....in this parady, Wogan the Worm becomes The Wormerine.

Intriguing story of a little earthworm who has managed to surprise his counterparts by surviving and displaying considerable strength. The worm research labs, zooniverse and the medical council noticed this ideal specimen and decided to bring him in for study.
To condense this a little, they implant him with a very strong metal to make him a super strength fish hook. The little worm's name is wogon and amazingly has not been able to escape his captors, being noticed recently at Lake Wobegon. Great story in worm world!ð???

This speaks about bizarre living of a special annelid Wogon Worm at Lake Wobegon, scientists fail to understand how he managed to live; well said, well done. DR ALCREATOR

Lol. Wogon should be renamed Woe-Is-Me! A well woven tale, Bill. I like how you took the Marvel comics fantasy / sci fi context to take a simple worm to a fisherman's dream.

When I saw the picture of the worm and hook I thought of Wolverine. Thanks for giving it a look.

Please forgive me for saying this, but this story sounds just a tad bit fishy. You want me to believe that there is a worm that can not only entice a fish to bite him which in turn snags the fish, then the worm can be retrieved from the fish and use over and over again. Has anybody ever asked the worm if he is is sick of fish by now, or do his feelings count for naught. That is what I believe. Poor, poor Wormy.

I can truthfully say that I have never given an iota of thought about the life of the worm. He's got a lot of heart (four I think) but not trainable.

You are a cold hearted man Bill. LOL.

This is the first time I have reviewed a story using a worm as the main character of the story. The Lead Worm is looked upon as the hero in the Worm World. I believe children will also love this animal adventure story. Thanks for sharing. Well done.
