Oh, this is lovely, Shirley - very evocative. I do, however, have a few suggestions (to match your description of what the form entails - I've never written one, but now I want to, after having read this lovely Octelle.
1) L1 is only seven syllables - perhaps adding "these" patchwork, quilted...?
2) L6, same thing - only seven syllables - easy solve - "a" universe
3) L7 - same as L1
This, my friend, goes in my bookcase!

Although I cannot help you with the techniques of poetry in my review, I do love how you wrote this beautiful octelle with the most amazing words to pay tribute to nature. I love nature too, especially the sunset or sunrise over the ocean. The sound of gentle waves always remind me of what I imagine to be the sound babies feel in their mother's wombs when she is happy and at peace...

Seken what a beautiful poem and the language a beauty used to describe the skies. I loved it the way you described the beauty of the sky and then in the night skies as well. Very good piece of art written on paper.
