What a fun limerick, Bill. I love the play on words at its ending. Can't say that I have the same affinity for shrews that you do, but I can co-exist with them. I prepared stew this weekend for my husband, and well, he should meet your shrew: it's almost all gone!

An excellent photo of this shrew, that complements your poem very well. I think I saw them on television very recently. They look nice, and eat all the way every day-from morn till night. If they would not do this they'd starve.

Very sneaky and effective rhyme scheme. I love it Bill and thanks for being a fan its an honor. So from reading both 9 & 10 is it safe to assume that there are 8 more? I love the little humor bites. It seems that little rident was greedy and never had enough to eat. Great little story.
