I like how you used two nonets to contrast strong women to the weak. It is so sad when women tear each other down. It seems like they do not understand they are being their own worst enemies.

WOW! And yes...women are not born that way. I read a book by Susan Jeffers called Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway. In it she encourages doing the thing that you fear doing. The fear will be there, but only by taking the first step will you overcome that which is holding you back. You become stronger each time you face the fear and make an attempt to reach a goal. To me, this is a major step in becoming a stronger woman. Rejoicing in the accomplishments of other women is equally as important. Supporting others is supporting ourselves. It?s a shame that it takes so long to become one for some women,. Verbal abuse teaches a lot of things, and finally strengthens a woman. I really appreciate your review, it is validating.

This is a fantastic poem of support! I love the way you started with Strong and ended with Strength. The diamond shape was a Perfect Idea. A wonderful diamond shape, BL and filled with excellent social commentary and insight. So true, that strong women build each other up instead of tearing each other down.

Sabotage, cliques, gossiping are all the domain of the envious and women are no less susceptible than anyone.
