A very well-written Cinquain. A tree changes from season to season but the beauty remains. After winter sleep, it awakes again and starts the process all over again.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I enjoyed your using the Cinquain form to capture the dramatic changing of the season and the never-ending beauty of the tree. You added the perfect, parallel artwork as well. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

I love trees and also find them beautiful all year 'round. I live in Michigan and love our colorful fall season. Nice job on the poem, and the photo fits it perfectly. All the best - Cheryl

'the beauty of a tree remains -unchanged.' True, trees are beautiful all year Around whether fragile skeletons waiting for the buds or flushed with colour in autumn or full of leaf and flowers in spring and summer. Always they are beautiful. This poem is very lovely a great cinquain I hope you do well with it kind regards Meia xx

Thank you! There is beauty to be found all year 'round. We just need to look for it - and trees serve as such a lovely backdrop, even with icicles hanging off them. Appreciate your dropping by to read and review.

I think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as a tree.
What if the poem is about the beauty of the tree? Can it be as beautiful? Probably not, but this is a noble effort. Even in the starkness of winter trees are beautiful.
Nice use of "verdant" and interesting, effective, formatting on the fourth line.

No, my poem cannot compete with the beauty of our Creator's handiwork. But it's a joy to reflect on how true beauty transcends time and change - hopefully in us as well. Appreciate your reading and reviewing my effort.

a clever cinquain and something I have thought about when viewing the trees around the pond out side of my window--though they change with the seasons the beauty remains.
