HAHAHAHA! Oh my, your sense of humor amazes me, and the mental images I came up with were unlike anything I would ever try to relate - your poem says it best! (People didn't really do this, did they? Hahahahaha!) Poor, little caterpillar culprits! Horrible enough to be burned at the twig, but did those people have to torture them first?!!! *grinning 'til my face hurts*

Thanks, Dawn. The caterpillars were probably not targeted for punishment; just stepped on.

As far as I can see, the only thin pure about the Puritans is that they were purely ignorant, intolerably ignorant. It is one thing to be ignorant, without a decent education we are all ignorant in one way or another, but there is no excuse to be ignorant and brutally cruel at the same time. Actually, brutally cruel and self righteous all at the same time, which is absolutely unbearable.

The reason Puritans never had sex standing up was because they thought it might lead to dancing.

That is funny, really funny!

Lol there's lots to say about caterpillars. I really enjoyed that. Even more to say about millipedes. Did you know that they are born with just a couple of legs and each time they moult they grow a new body segment and legs too. They can grow very long, up to 12 inches. PM

In my opinion, an interesting poem and commentary regarding one of our smallest creatures. Although I didn't understand it all, I applaud the effort and easy construction...

Bill,
This is a great poem with super alliteration. The use f unusual words doesn't detract form its meaning. The picture is perfect.
Thanks for sharing. Jan
