Hi Bill, Oh poor Mister Fly, he did need a break, but that Mrs Fly should be eaten by a spider was unfortunate. She should have watched the cocktails, but it gave him a well needed rest. Hehe. All the best. Ulla:))

It has been said more times than I can count, "Karma is a female dog that bites." Many husbands who labor nonstop in an effort to please our better halves, deserve a rest at some point. While we would not wish that our better halves get devoured by a spider, they do need to cut us some slack at some point.

Oh, what an evil little frog tale tis one is!. Haha. Guess the poor guy needed a break, and she needed to fly more carefully. Exquisite piece of imagination showcased in this humorous little gem.

Really enjoyed this hilarious poem, which flowed effortlessly,
lovely rhythm and rhyme throughout with some wonderful funny lines within.

Serves her right. She partied while he worked.
I love "Fly Estate." They must have been rich flies.
Keep 'em coming. I love these.

Hi Bill. I'm not sure I got the last line. But I'm real sure Mrs. Fly got hers and properly too haha. Wrapped in silk half eaten. Love this grooly line of reasoning. xoxo Kiwi

The last line was extra long to make it funnier

I hope he enjoyed his nap whilst his dearest had become spider food! I love the comic manner which you use in some of your poems. I love the beautiful words and the way you craft your work in all of your poetry. I can learn much from you by simply reading your work.

Thanks, Marybell, for reviewing this. The final line is purposely long to make it stand out.

You are most welcome.
