A very well-written story. Many relationships start off well and seems to flourish until the one or both start to control the other. Sometimes the unhappy conditions can be escaped from, other times there is no outcome.

'on' his planet
OH dear this is an exceptional piece of writing. I love the start of what was thought of as love, then the heartache that destroyed her, then hope that restored her.

I struggled with 'in' or 'on' . I don't know why you didn't get notified, but thanks for reviewing. Stories are a newer style for me.

a tale of life, love, redemption, and the restoration of a soul. I liked the way you wove a bit of fairy tale and a bit of mythology into this piece. Well done, Trisha. Thank you for sharing,

Good morning Trisha:
This is a quite interesting and creative story your have written. Some of it is quite poetic too, as you describe some of the fantasy.
There is a lot of this story that I can personally relate to but what a story. Excellent!...Oh and I love your new profile photo. That is a beautiful cat. I always said that if I was going to own a cat it had to be one as fluffy as this one.
Hey I wanted to ask you did my latest post - post in your messages. It's called, "Be Still My Heart 2"

No, I did not get that poem. After some detective work (LOL) it turned out to be a blind entry contest. No notifications sent. I will review it for you.
Thank you, thank you! I used to have a white cat called Snowy (original!) she was short haired and I love the fuzzy ones.
Your complimentary review was appreciated, as always.
Hugs, hugs for your day, Trisha

Hi there,
A broad stroke metaphor here for an unhappy/abusive relationship and hope at the end. It is a little passive in places but does nothing to hurt the story.
lest a piece was lost.. - delete the double punctuation here.
toward her room.Help had arrived - spacing here.
back to his castle called 'Restore' - end punctuation needed here.

Well hello! It's nice to be honored by your review, as you are one of the best known reviewers on FS. I appreciated your eagle eyed scan for typos. Your suggestion about "passive" parts was duly noted. I have now corrected the punctuation errors, and I sincerely thank you for helping.

Probably a little short, the concept of the story is fairly broad based, the reader would need time to grasp the varied perceptions in the short tale. One needs a little time to be sympathetic to both the plot and the characters. But well done, good effort, blessings, Roy
Typo (less) a piece was lost. Lest?

What a sad story. Does anybody really live happily ever after? I'm glad she was rescued and I hope she chooses her knights more carefully on the future. They have way of turning into toads.

Hi Cindy, I think it takes work on both sides, but also happiness comes from within ourselves. The maiden only learned that too late and the rescue knight was a professional ( according to the story in my head,) not explained. I sincerely thank you for your review .

This is beautiful, full of symbolism and very well written. It's a fairy tale for grown ups that mirrors the life of many (unfortunately).
I have enjoyed reading it very much.
Thanks.
