I saw that movie of genius and prejudice. Quite a tale, and one which you've captured expertly in this fine acrostic piece. There's not too many of the main points missing, but exactly enough to stir memory and educate new readers. The rhyme helped enormously to get the flow right. I'm no acrostic fan but I enjoyed this.

What a challenging story line for this contest. You've used each starting letter effectively and then maintained a consistent rhyme that does not seem forced. well done.

I passionately agree with the important message you project using the finest of words but the structure and the flow of the poem sets it apart. This is a worthy testament to one of Britain's greatest brains but despite changes in laws, bigotry remains at large. Best of luck in the contest, I doubt another would catch my vote.
Kindest regards Helen x

The Invitation Game is a fitting tribute to a genius who received accolades after his death only. In hindsight, the author notes make the injustice meted out to Alan Turin unpardonable. You have penned your Acrostic excellently on a theme which needed public attention even though it is too late. Best of luck to you in the contest.

Remarkable work on an exceptionally difficult poetry form and choice of film title, while outlining the Turing story with empathy.

Your movie acrostic is a great presentation. Everything works to make it an enjoyable read of a time that so many were mistreated. Making the first letter large and colorful is great. I like the 2 colors. The words really stand out. Your lines flow smoothly and tell a great deal about the movie. Good job and thanks for sharing. The notes are a nice addition, too. Best wishes in the contest.

This is quite amazing, I just watched a documentary on Allan Turing just a little while ago. Your Acrostic is so very well done.

This was a wonderful tribute, both to Alan Turing and to the movie. You did a great job merging an acrostic and a rhyming scheme with the image. I like how you ended the piece - rather than dwelling on Turing's unfortunate end you took a more positive point of view. Good luck in the contest.

This was a tragic story of a genius undermined by prejudice. Your poem incorporates the whole story. Well done with this difficult acrostic subject. Also thank you for your notes on Turing and the film.
