Thank you for giving this a read, MM. I like these contests and writing a movie review as a critic. Thanks for your kind congratulations.
Thanks for worrying about me...its nice to be missed. I got a weird virus a couple of weeks ago, and it put me so behind in reviews, and I'm slowly getting caught up, but I missed a slew of posts. I'll be posting soon!

I saw that movie and yes it was funny. They try and rob a bank if I remember correctly. Congratulations on a well-deserved win. I am not a fan of these actors, but the movie was good. Thank you for sharing.

Deserving of six stars, but alas my pockets are empty. Oh, how I enjoyed the move, Birdcage, with Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. These two are superior examples for any actor of improv. to emulate. Congratulations on winning this contest, poet.

Excellent review of an excellent movie. You used the 5-7-5 syllable choices perfectly and I for one, believe you have an excellent chance of winning this contest. I truly enjoyed this movie with the wonderful actors, many over the top funny scenes which made me laugh many times. Good luck! :) Kat

Robin Williams was one of my all-time fave comedic film stars, Kar.
I don't understand the relevance of, 'sings', but I don't recall this particular movie - perhaps it was a musical? Maybe it's just a strong word to express the joy of the performances, and in that way it works very well.
Congratulations on yet another win with this excellent and very flowing read.
Best wishes, Ray xx

No, the use of sing with laughter is much more simpler...it's a play on words with the title The Birdcage. Instead of howling with laughter, I thought singing would be clever. Thanks for your review and comments. You should try to see the movie if you get the chance. Nathan Lane and Hank Azaria with Ribin will make you laugh. It's not a musical, but The Birdcage is the name of the male cross-dressing nightclub, so there's a bit of music in the movie. Thanks for your congratulations.
Smiles,
Kar :-)

Ah, that makes sense, Kar, and thanks for the explanation.
I must admit I don't usually find cross-dressing funny - though everyone to their own - but on a similar theme, I thought he was 'brilliant' in the funny and moving 'Mrs Doubtfire' (I THINK that was the title, when he was the kids father).
