So sorry you feel sad. But the friendship link was there to the end. As she passed overhead on her way to heaven she brushed lightly over you.

This is a very true poem my friend. When I left school we all promised to keep in touch but never did. I often wonder what became of them. I enjoyed reading your poem and am sorry about your friend.

One of life's biggest regrets can be that you did not spend time with someone you care about while they were still alive and you could have. Should have, would have, did not is a tough position to find yourself in. This well written poem paints this message crystal clearly. Well done.

_ I lost a dear friend many years ago to cancer. So very sad she died a young age.
_ This made me thing of a dear friend I haven't seen in many years since we live in different states. I believe I'll give her a call.
