Excellent

As a former Texas girl, I found this poem to be a grabber. Just a few words (the image helped!) and I was back in the stands, in the heat of the summer, drinking a coke and watching men be tossed around like sandbags on the edge of the flood plain when the river was rising! Good work!

Your 1/6/1 poem is ok, I like the picture but the colors you chose make reading hard. Your syllable count is right. The three lines don't go well together, the third line lacks imagination.

Clever use of the interjection 'Oh' to complete your triplet rhyme and also add lots of life and a partial story to this tiny verse form.
