I loved this humorous poem about dogs in Heaven. It a beautiful. I laughed at your last line.
Just a simple quatrain, but nicely rhymed in an abab classic manner. Nicely done,

No cats in sight? well, what would paradise be without something for them to chase. Squirrels? my dog would be surrounded by them. seriously though, I do believe that where we go, they will follow. If you have not read it, check out the poem by James Dickey entitled " The Heaven of Animals". you can probably find it on The Poetry Foundation's website. Thanks for sharing.

What a fun, light hearted poem. Great image to poem match. Your poem delights just like the dog heaven.
I hope cats have their own heaven, after all, we would wont to show favoritism where heaven is concerned.
From a dogs point of view, great concluding line.
