What a great chapter left me hooked to read the previous chapters. I will start as soon as possible to do so, but I think detain you a little. My congratulations, hugs from Chile

You are welcome, in English. I really missed a good write. I caught this on the tail end but see the way Characterization moved well. Perhaps another?

Hi, Ben. I'm going to be editing the novel for hopeful publication. Though I have an idea for a sequel, I'm putting back out another paranormal novel I started a while back and didn't finish. If you like that genre, I'd be interested in what you think.
Thanks for the great review!

Long-Meyer- episodes came to mind when I read you chapter. Of course, I came in at the last.
Over the years, I have written and read many great stories. However, I am partial to Antebellum Historical Christian fiction /none fiction.I am Choctaw and of course Native American writes always interest me. Best of luck to you in the publishing engagement.

Hi, Ben. What a fascinating background you have. Don't you just love Longmire. That is one of my favorite shows, and is vastly underrated by the critics.
We enjoy attending the PowWow here in Traverse City. The Odawa nation is just up the rode from where I live and they put on a fantastic celebration every summer. I've gotten some great shots as they do allow taking pictures of most of the dancing.
Thanks so much for you good wishes! :) Bev

I really like, Bev, how you tell us what became of each of the characters in this wonderful novel of yours. As I read through these, I thought of how at the movies sometimes, there will be an explanation of what happens to each of the central characters. I truly enjoyed reading this and also learning so much from your author's notes these past few years. I look forward to your next novel.
Big Hugs Always,
Connie

Bev, I read all the chapters, but have fail to review the some of the last ones. They all deserved six stars.
Will there be another Jana Burke novel? Are you getting this one published?
You have my best wishes.

Thank you so much, April. I do plan on editing extensively, as it is far too long. That's a process that I'm going to be pursuing over the next months.
I really appreciate all the time you spent reading and encouraging me over the course of this project. Thank you so much for your generosity here and always!

Hmmm, looks like I missed the party, but this really looks like an interesting book. Nice crisp writng that is clear and precise and the ending is filled with nice details that really make this sound like it would be a thrill a minute ride. Good chapter and I'm going to have to go back and check it out.

Hi, sibhus. Thank you for taking time out to read this epilogue. I'll be extensively editing as I have way too many chapters at 70! I really could have get it going for another five more!
Anyway, I really appreciate your grand review!

It would seem you have covered all the bases, tied up all the loose ends, dotted every "I", crossed every "T" = LOL. Okay, I admit it, I'm just trying to make you smile because NOW the drudgery starts - marketing this baby. I have revisions and editing to do on mine, and I started with the first few chapters, but I hate it. I'm sic of reading the same thing over and over again. I might start re=posting again soon...
Bev, there's nothing I can say about this final chapter that I haven't said before - it's great, and I think your book will be a big hit. The only suggestion I might make would be to expand a little, maybe add a bit of dialogue. But then again, maybe it's just me, hating to see it end.

Dawn, thank you so much for the encouragement and support. Your enthusiasm kept me going on this project and I am in your debt for that.
This epilogue was really for the site. I'll have a different ending format when I try to get it published.
Thanks so much!

Rosalyne, I can't wait to thank you in person for all your lovely support and how you radiated enthusiasm, even when I wasn't feeling it. You truly helped keep me on track, my friend.
What a lovely person you are!
Glad you liked the wrap-up. A few thought it needed a different angle, but at 70 chapters I really had to find a cut-off point LoL.
Thanks for this awesome review and for all of it over this past two years.
Hugs, Bev

Hi Bev,
You've certainly drawn all the straws together in this finale, some of them could be expanded a little I think to make a dialogue - particularly the cop who commented on the missing braid.
That said, the Devil Dog is still 'out there' frustrated, but unable to return and control until something creates a pathway again ... And Fr Brian seems to have been fired up by the Holy Spirit in his encounter. Having met men inspired like this - yes, they do 'radiate'.

Hi, Patrick. I really appreciate your insights. With seventy chapters at this point, I am going to have to trim in a big way when it comes to submitting this to a publisher. The epilogue was to try to bring some closure to the story as it really could have gone on for another four or five more. So your perspective is certainly one I'll consider when the changes occur.
Thanks for all your support and encouragement. You've had a real inside track on this latter part of the novel, and I think it comes from your own faith and experience. In any case, it resonated with what I was trying to say.
Yes, the devil dog will most certainly be looking for its next victim and has an even deeper hatred for Father Brian now.
To be continued... :)
