It's so good to read your work again! This was an interesting contest indeed, I've only had a chance to read a few entries.. but was so happy to see your name again.

Written well but I doubt that he was every one's hero, he was only a man and unfortunately a tormented man at that. Who haunted and chased him in his dreams no one will ever know. We do hope that he RIP.
He was a funny guy & a good actor. Much more serious than he let on. Maybe if he was more open he would have lived more by faith than by, who knows what?
A great loss and so many people do this as if it is a fad. What the hell's the matter with them. Don't they know that they are not the center of the Universe?

I think people who commit suicide are selfish and don't care about the people whose lives they effect. I appreciate the great review. I had one person who was offended because mine wasn't all about the good person he was - I mentioned his drinking problem turning it into a joke just like he would have.

You done well! Honesty is always the best policy;
too much compromising is the road that leads to Hell.
It?s insidiously deceptively superstitiously pernicious.
That's what "Good Intentions" means.
(The road to Hell is paved with good intentions)
Thank you I just thought of a poem & will name it Compromise.

Hi Teresa - this is a good and amusing story about Robin. Gosh 1980 - that is going back a long way and he came a long way forward after that. Made some great films. Your poem is the kind he would have liked. Good Luck. Kind regards Dorothy x

Hi Teresa,
Your words: no one doubted you/only you say so much. I have been trying to imagine what it's like having such severe depression. I wish the medical community would make more advances with issues of the brain. Nicely written.
Hugs,
Lou

I am a huge fan of Robin Williams and your words capture his spirit. I like how you remind us of that first show,Mork and his unusual way of doing things. He will be so missed.

I love the poem. Shazbot is what I thought when I hear about Robin Williams. It is a big blow for this world. Mork and Mindy was one of his first great works. Robin could make the unbelievable believable. He really acted like a woman in Mrs. Doubtfire. He brought out the problems divorce can cause. Great work Robin. Great work poet.

good assonance in you booze through too choosing nanoo
You have just the right touch of sentimentality and humor in this tribute to a man I came to love as Mork so long ago - this is quite moving but never maudlin :-) Brooke

I like it. You have worked a lot of the humor from Mork and Mindy into the poem. Using the vocabulary of the program you have created a sensitive tribute to this great funny-man. "No one doubted you, only you" a sad commentary on his own emotional problems.
