Humorous take on believing in something outside of you. This option can only do you evil as the witch quickly found out. Folks get into huge messes listening to others( in this case a mirror) instead of taking a moment to be still and hear your own voice. If the witch had taken that route, or maybe an half an hour of mediation then Walt, Disneyland and the whole world might have had a better view of her. Instead of her getting a view of a silver blade.

That was a super poem, with a novel take on the Snow White story. The rhymes and imagery were great and it flowed so well. One thing I wanted to point out-hope you don't mind- Verse 2, line 2 the verb cast does not change in any of its tenses, i.e. the past tense remains 'cast'. Most enjoyable, super visuals and good luck in the contest. Faye

This is a well-told tale! I especially like the up-to-date reference to Walt Disney; also that "Snow" got fat living with the seven dwarfs. I very much like the artwork. It adds much to the story. Your rhyming is right on. One thought: "casted" should be changed to "cast". Good luck with the contest. Alana

And serves you right, spoiling all
the children's dreams of good and that
held in abeyance until we meet again.
Such a good divergence tonight to find
this little miscarried jewel. I'm sure
it will do well in the comp'. Eric

Author: what an enjoyable poem! Adding a little twist to "Snow White" from Disney. And, I love the last couple of lines where the witch now knows not to trust a mirror! Good writing. livelylinda

I think this poem has lots of really good ideas but, it needs to flow more smoothly when read to travel the reader through to the end.
I loved the line, "I am hated by Walt and throughout Disneyland."
And it would be fantastic to see a spin off poem or story from your words in these lines -
"Snow has grown fat living with seven little men.
Without a diet the Prince's hand she'll never win.
- what a great idea, if Snow White got fat and the Prince didn't want her!

This is an ambitious poem filled with many energetic visual connections to Malificent, that evil queen from Snow White. It's funny to suggest the 'diet' plan' that is meant to help.

You have amazing production values on display here with all of the moving images and stills to boost the visual impact of the poem. The poem flows nicely and has an original twist in that the witch gets to bitch about the Snow White bitch, while she dher own circumstances. There's a good core of ironic humour throughout and the whole poem is a wonderfully inventive take on the prompt. Good luck.
Question: 'I casted the spell'...should this not be 'cast a spell'?
