A golden penda tree is an Australian native found extensively on the east coast.
It is similar to a bottlebrush. The trees are covered in masses of bright yellow nectar filled blooms which become a mecca for birds and bees.

In fact I could even smell the trees blossoms and see the birds and the bees foraging the nectar from this tree. Your rhyming a spectacular And neither of your rhymes are forced, labored or strained while your rhythm and flow smoothly throughout your poem. This is a beautiful depiction of the circle of life and the annual struggle to take advantage of what nature has to offer by the birds and the bees. All of nature is locked in this struggle. Humans are also struggling on a daily basis for survival. We are not immune to this struggle either.

The Golden Penda is an Australian native plant which originates fro coastal north-east Queensland and flowers according to climate.
In NE NSW it is now flowering in all its splendour- and a delight to
see.
