Debbie, I can see why this one needed to come out and be recorded. What you have written is so true. And, I would add; when we bleed our blood is all the same color, red. Great job. Bob

Hi there, yes it is true, we all bleed, and you know what it is always red. No matter what color we are on the outside. Debbie, this one does make sense to me. Glad you wrote it down. Love, Carolyn

Amazing work here. The main idea I take from this is that we are all alike really. Take away the differing views, clothes, jobs, etc...and we are all vulnerable humans. Well Done!

I love poems that just seem to rise in our consciousness and as you say... Insist on being written!

Debbie, your write it thoughtful. Perception is people's reality whether it is real or not. They make their own, sadly. We are are of the human race, indeed. :0 GracieAnn

Yes, the meaning is so very, very true. And, I agree with it. Photo is interesting and colors well used. Clever use of wording. Thanks for sharing, Deb

I can feel the rapid motion of your pen /or fingers across the keyboard blazing this out. Sometimes the deepest hardest question we ask as a writer comes to us in a flash and demands release in right then. The came to you and no one else to ask the reader the hard question. Yes, we are all the same and the blood is red. It's a shame many don't want to realize it.

And it is true! We are all human and basically the same with the same needs and desires. We may have different beliefs about religion or politics, but why let that divide us when we are more alike than different?

Yes, we all bleed when cut. Too mwny do not believe they cause others to hurt with their comments and actions of thoughtlessness. Me, I think we all harbor evil I us, right alongside the good, right through the middle of theheart

Your conclusion is true indeed. I would rather focus on the positive interpretation but evil must also be factored into the equation. Thank you for sharing your reflections in this verse. Happy holiday Sunday- Joan

Dear Debbie - This has that layer of raw truth which hits home quickly in your lines. Loved the impact it had and your last lines were brilliant in a simple yet profound way.
Skillfully written.
Thanks for sharing it.
